Alain Ciabu Kota

Alain is a Mining Engineer who graduated from the University of Lubumbashi. After holding several positions in the private sector, in 2018, he joined the cooperation project implemented by the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR). As technical project advisor, he works with partners from the DRC Ministry of Mines and others, focusing on responsible practice and transparency in the artisanal and small-scale mining sector.
