Elisabetta Sartorel
Elisabetta Sartorel is a public policy professional with nearly two decades of experience at the European Commission, specialized in trade, investment climate, and sustainable critical raw materials. Since 2021, she works at DG International Partnerships as Policy Officer for Critical Raw Materials, where she provides thematic support to EU delegations and has played a key role in developing strategic EU-Africa partnerships, particularly with Namibia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, and South Africa. She designed and currently manages the CRM Facility at DG INTPA, a multi-million euro instrument that mobilizes public and private actors to identify and finance investment projects of mutual interest to the EU, its Member States, and partner countries, within the framework of the Global Gateway strategy.
