Mr. Jean Jacques Kayembe Mufwankolo is a Senior Leader in natural resource governance and public financial management, with over 26 years of experience driving policy reforms, institutional strengthening, and revenue optimization across the extractive sector. With a background in metallurgical civil engineering, he brings a unique combination of technical depth and strategic policy expertise, enabling him to operate effectively at the intersection of industry, government, and international development.
As National Coordinator of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a member of the EITI International Board, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing global standards on transparency and accountability in the extractive industries. He has been instrumental in positioning the DRC as a key reform actor, promoting systematic disclosure, strengthening multi-stakeholder governance frameworks, and enhancing oversight of extractive revenue flows.
