Juan Pablo Mardones

Juan Pablo Mardones is a PhD candidate at the University of Exeter Business School (UK) researching the circular economy of cobalt, hosted by the British Geological Survey. Holding a dual academic background in mining & metallurgy and strategic studies, his research is focused on how the cobalt sector advances circularity objectives in an age of increasing geopolitical complexity. This PhD constitutes part of the Cobalt Institute’s ongoing programme on circularity and is fully funded by the David Weight Cobalt Scholarship.
